Birdwatching At Camp Scott

Birdwatchers at Foster Park

Join us for monthly bird-watching adventures in the Camp Scott Nature Preserve! Everyone from beginners to bird-watching pros are welcome, and each 60-90 minute event is family-friendly. A limited number of binoculars will be available to borrow, and each hike will begin with a short introduction on how to best use binoculars.
The Camp Scott Nature Preserve is not usually open to the public and many residents have not had a chance to explore this beautiful restored wetland. These are great opportunities to see a lesser-known gem of Fort Wayne.
The Camp Scott Nature Preserve is easy to access with a bicycle using the Rudisill Boulevard Bike Lanes, Oxford Trail, and McMillen Park, with less than 1/3 mile on the road riding from sidewalk or trail to entrance. A great example of one of the many cool places you can visit via the trails!
